Dear Friends,

It seems that with most momentous occasions in life, we have to leave a bit of what we love behind in order to move on to the next phase. That is certainly true in my decision to retire. For the last fifteen years at Poquoy I have found an awful lot to love. I've worked at a number of golf courses over my career, but Poquoy Brook is my favorite. The Poquoy Brook Golf Association is one of the reasons for that. The Association fosters a culture of camaraderie and companionship for its members which is extended to the staff of the club as well. In addition, it lends definition and character to the club as a whole. That's more rare than you can imagine.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the generous gift, as well as for the wonderful picture and signature book. (Nice job on that, Jay!) It's something that I will always treasure. I hope you realize what an honor and pleasure it was to get to know all of you.
